If you’re into Japanese food, you’re probably into all of them and know them by heart without English translations necessary: sushi, sashimi, maki, gyoza, ramen, udon, donburi, tempura, katsu; you name it. Did you get them all? Luckily, sometimes you get to try two of your favorite Japanese dishes in one dish! Such as this authentic hot tempura ramen I had in Tokyo: two large prawns breaded and fried to perfection, atop some al dente wheat ramen and a generous side portion of nori. Is your mouth watering yet?
Ah, Tokyo. I wonder if you disappointing me is even possible?
